Snowy Engagement Photos in Colorado

Updated: Feb 7

These two came all the way from Texas, ready to soak in Colorado’s breathtaking mountain scenery for their photos. What they didn’t expect? An arctic blast that sent temperatures plummeting into the single digits temperatures (we’re talking 4 degrees Fahrenheit!). One silver lining to the freezing temps? We had Sapphire Point completely to ourselves— a rare treat at a normally very popular overlook. If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a Colorado photographer, it’s that the best moments often come when you embrace the unexpected.

Dressed warm Callie and Harvey braved the freezing temps like total champs. And honestly? The snow-dusted trees and soft winter light made for the dreamiest Sapphire Point Overlook conditions. Every frame felt like a scene from a winter fairytale— cozy, intimate, and filled with so much joy. And let’s be real… there’s just something about a snowy engagement session that feels straight out of a romance movie!

If you’re dreaming of snowy engagement photos, take this as your sign to go for it! Sapphire Point is stunning year-round, but there’s something extra magical about having it all to yourself in the winter. Looking for a Colorado engagement photographer?

Let’s make some mountain magic together!
